America's favorite foot-powered car brand comes into the electronic age with a "high tech" dashboard that makes five electronic sounds. A retractable canopy helps keep the "driver" cool as he tools around town. Plus, a removable floorboard and adjustable four-position handle allow this sporty convertible to grow along with the child from toddler to preschool.
Stage One: With the floorboard in place, an adult pushes the car with the handle. Stage Two: When the toddler can use foot power, the floorboard is removed and an adult guides with the handle. Stage Three: The handle is removed when the older toddler can steer. Inside features include a gearshift, clicking key, cup holder and storage behind the seat. (Stuffed toys not included.) Body comes in a special gloss finish. Requires 2 "AAA" alkaline batteries (not included). Measures approximately 33" x 21" x 20".

Fun for baby, tough on Dad Dec 17, 2008
I purchased this for my grandchild. She loves it! I had it sent directly to my daughter's house. My daughter said it was very difficult to put together. apparently, the wheels' directions (to attach them) did not seem safe and secure enough for my son-in-law, so he rigged up a safer method of attaching them. Thank heaven they had to do it and not the grandparents.

The product was shipped and I opened all the parts. Being an engineer, I could see just by looking at step 1 and the parts there was a problem. Sure enough the front axles do not lock into place when inserted into the holes. They are either too short or the locking assembly in the body is not manufactured correctly. I will be returning it. Too bad - another company that makes things in the USA with poor quality. If you cannot even put it together, the toy does not have a chance.

We bought this for my son for his 1 year old birthday, and he absolutely loves it!! He never wants to get out! It's a little loud on the pavement, but other than that, it's awesome! Easy to steer and seems very durable so far. I wish we had bought this car months ago---I think as long as they can sit up really well, they should be fine in it. Take it from me who has a restless 1 year old, who barely plays with toys anyway, it's a wonderful investment!

My little grandson loved this toy. His little eyes lit up when he saw it.
It was the hit of the birthday party. Also a chick magnet too!

Just make sure you give yourself some time to put it together. It took awhile but the result was just what we were looking for.

I'm sure he will enjoy it for quite awhile!
